Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users using MQ appliance version MQ 9.1 LTS and/or 9.1.X CD

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A logic error in the sshd task could result in a hung thread
during handshake or renegotiation. This hung thread was detected
by the appliance's watchdog process, and the fimware was
reloaded to resolve the hang, resulting in a queue manager
    restart.

Problem conclusion

  • MQ appliance code has been modified to resolve the hang in the
    sshd task.
