IT30075: THE RECORD DETECTION AND DELIMITER PROPERTIES DO NOT BEHAVE CORRECTLY WHEN PROMOTED ON THE FILEINPUT NODE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When promoting the "Record Detection" or "Delimiter" properties
  on the FileInput Node the following erroneous behaviour is
  observed:
  
  1.) If the Record detection property is promoted and Delimiter
  is not then the Delimiter property can no longer be edited.
  
  2.) If the Delimiter property is promoted and its value is
  changed to a non-default value, then the message flow can no
  longer be deployed. The following error will be observed on
  deployment:
  
  BIP3310E: 'FileInput' node 'File Input' in message flow
  'FileInputNodePropertyPromotion' property name 'null' is
  supplied with an invalid value 'customDelimiter'.
  
  3.) Renaming the Delimiter property after it has been promoted,
  causes the values to display incorrectly.
  
  These problems could occur when promoting other properties which
  have an enum type.
