APAR status

Error description

  • The CDInput node fails to process the file, when the
    destination file path is an absolute path set in userfile.cfg.
    
    
    The user may see the following error:
    
    BIP7967I: The file ''/EAIFW-TEST/ConnectDirectIn/absolute.dat''
    is not within the directory ''/transfer/cd/app2eai'' specified
    as the cdPathToInputDir in the configurable service. IBM
    Sterling Connect:Direct transfer is ignored for the file.
    
    Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s):CDINPUT, Absolute path,

    All users of  IBM Integration Bus V10 and App Connect Enterprise
    v11 using the CDInput Node.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The CDInput node fails to process the file, when the destination
    file path is an absolute path and the download_dir property is
    configured in userfile.cfg.
    
    
    The user may see the following error:
    
    BIP7967I: The file ''/EAIFW-TEST/ConnectDirectIn/absolute.dat''
    is not within the directory ''/transfer/cd/app2eai'' specified
    as the cdPathToInputDir in the configurable service. IBM

Problem conclusion

  • Now the CDInput node successfully process the file, when the
    destination file path has and absolute path set and download_dir
    is configured in userfile.cfg file.
