Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V11.0 migrating from
    earlier IIB releases with message flows with monitoring events
    defined
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform
    
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    After running mqsiextractcomponents to create a new ACE v11
    Integration Server from a IIB v10/v9 integration server a
    migrated message flow might fail to start reporting the
    following BIP messages:-
    
    BIP9320E: Message Flow '<message flow name>' encountered a
    failure and could not start.
    BIP2113E: IBM App Connect Enterprise internal error: diagnostic
    information 'MonitoringProfile', '<message flow name>',
    '<invalid eventSourceName>'.
    
    This problem will occur when a message flow that had monitoring
    events defined on flow nodes and an  "eventSourceName" attribute
    value is incorrectly nolonger matching the message flow node
    label.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The ACE v11 runtime has been corrected to enable it to start
    messages flows with invalid monitoring event "eventSourceName"
    attribute values, in the same way as in prior releases.
