Error description

  • If a Update statement references correlated and non-correlated
    scalar sub-queries in the SET clause, it might trap with the
    following function stack trace.
    
    Example statement:
    
    create table t1(c1 int, c2 int);
    create table t2(c1 int, c2 int);
    update t1 set c1 = (select t2.c1 from t2 where t2.c2 = t1.c2),
    c2 = (select c1 from t2);
    
    Stack trace:

    sqlnr_seq

Local fix

  • Apply the following registry setting using the optimization
    guideline:

       </REGISTRY>
    </OPTGUIDELINES> */
