Local fix
Review the "Problem Description" section, delete the affected MQ IPC file(s) (e.g. /var/mqm/qmgrs/TESTQM/@qmpersist/shmem/myhost/shm.0) and then start the queue manager.
Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users using MQ in a server running with other products which use shared memory Platforms affected: MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Shared memory is one of the resources used by MQ. During queue manager startup MQ tried to access a shared memory set it was using in the previous queue manager session, but currently owned by a non MQ process and mqm user did not have access to that shared memory set. MQ did not correctly handle the error condition and this caused failure in queue manager startup.
Problem conclusion
