APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • MQ v9.1, runmqras did not collect MQ software tag files
    due to a change in location where these are kept.
    Software tag files contain information required by
    license managers to identify products/components
    installed on the machine.
    

Local fix

  • Request output of 'ls -alR /opt/mqm'

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    In MQ V9 the location of MQ's software tag files was changed
    from the MQINSTALLDIR/properties directory to
    MQINSTALLDIR/swidtag but the diagnostic tool "runmqras" was not
    modified to list the contents of the new directory.
    

Problem conclusion

  • "runmqras" has been modified to list the contents of
    MQINSTALLDIR/swidtag
