IT29157: INCONSISTENT SLA POLICY DROPDOWN IN BACKUP SCREENS.

APAR status

Error description

  • In the hypervisors and application backup screens, the dropdown
    for SLA policies next to the search box is not intuitive.
    Selecting an SLA policy in the dropdown does not immediately
    update the results with all resources in the SLA policy.
    Clicking on the search button with an empty search string
    results in all resources displayed regardless of the selected
    SLA policy.

Problem conclusion

  • IBM Spectrum Protect Plus hypervisor and application backup
    screens were updated to address SLA dropdown behavior.   The SLA
    dropdown is now enabled immediately when screen is rendered.   A
    selection in the SLA dropdown will now immediately display all
    resources in that selected SLA policy.   A clear, 'x', button
    has been implemented in the search box to clear the current
    search input.
