Error description

  • The classloader which is used to load the Java mail API is not
    isolated, this means that if there are customer deployed flows
    which themselves use the Java Mail API then this can clash with
    the versions of the classes loaded by the EmailInput and
    EmailOutput nodes.

    This could lead to unexpected behaviour including errors such as
    the following:

    BIP4973E: EmailInput node 'nodeName' in message flow 'FlowName'
    has received an email with content type 'multipart/mixed;
    boundary="boundaryId"' and internal type
    'javax.mail.internet.MimeMultipart', which the EmailInput node
    is not able to process.

Problem conclusion

  • The Email Input and Email Output Nodes now use an isolated class
    loader preventing this error from occurring.
