**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise v11 and IBM Integration Bus v10.0, with use KAFKA with kerberos authentication. Platforms affected: z/OS, MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: KAFKA client jars need upgrade to 0.10.2.1 or later to pickup dynamic jaas configurations specified using sasl.jaas.config property. It is required when Kafka nodes are used with Kerberos authentication. When the required jaas.config values are not picked, typically a connection failure occurs and will have the following explanation in the reported error Explanation 'Timeout expired while fetching topic metadata'.
Problem conclusion
