Error description
When executing a select statement that passes a character to a numeric column, no error was reported on the first invalid call but is reported on subsequent calls. The First invalid call to the database incorrectly resulted in SUCCESS_WITH_INFO being returned by the DataDirect Oracle ODBC driver.

Platforms affected: AIX, HP-UX Itanium platform, Linux on Power platform, Linux on x86 platform, Linux on x86-64 platform, Linux on zSeries platform, Solaris x86-64 platform, Solaris SPARC platform, Windows on x86 platform, Windows on x86-64 platform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When executing a SELECT statement that passes data of an incorrect type for a database column, no error was reported on the first invalid call but is reported on subsequent calls. The first invalid call to the database incorrectly resulted in SUCCESS_WITH_INFO being returned by the DataDirect Oracle ODBC driver. Subsequent calls correctly returned SQL_ERROR. An example of this is passing non numeric characters to a numeric column.
Problem conclusion
