Error description

  • A NullPointerException is seen if a node in a subflow/message
flow which is in a static library is deployed and tries to
reference a deployed resource such as a WSDL or in/outadapter .
This applies to the SOAP nodes and the
    SAP/Siebel/Peoplesoft/JDEdwards nodes.

The exceptions seen may look similar to the following:

    For flows containing SOAP nodes:

BIP9320E: Message Flow 'TESTFLOW', 'TESTFLOW' encountered a
    failure and could not start.

BIP3701E: A Java exception was thrown whilst calling the Java
    JNI method
    'method_com_ibm_broker_axis2_Axis2NodeRegistrationUtil_registerS
    yncRequestNode'. The Java exception was
'java.lang.NullPointerException'. The Java stack trace was

Problem conclusion

  • The product has been changed to perform the lookup for SOAP and
adapter resources from the application level if the nodes which
use them reside in static libraries.
