Error description

  • The Group request time out properties on the output Nodes
    cannot be set correctly.
    
    They should accept a positive integer or 0 or -1 but that gives
    a
    validation error.
    They should allow a decimal point since it is accurate to a
    tenth of second.

    All users of IBM Integration Bus V10.0.0.15 and IBM App Connect
    Enterprise V11.0.0.3 using the Output nodes that support the
    Group node requests
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    Linux on x86-64 platform, Windows on x86-64 platform, AIX, z/OS

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The Group request time out properties on the output Nodes
    cannot be set correctly.
    
    They should accept a positive number or 0 or -1 but that gives a
    validation error.
    They should allow a decimal point since it is accurate to a
    tenth of second.
    The runtime incorrectly assumed the setting was in milliseconds
    not seconds.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The toolkit has been changed to allow a positive or 0 or -1 in
    the group time out properties for the Output nodes that
    support the group request properties. The field can also be set
    to a tenth of a second.
    The runtime was also changed to use seconds since it currently
    used milliseconds for the request time out.
