Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
IBM MQ Appliance users configuring a DR partner for a
    high-availability (HA) queue manager pair.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Historical failure conditions were recorded when the DR link was
disabled, and an omission in the HA/DR queue manager startup
logic caused this condition to fail to be detected and cleaned
up. This prevented the queue manger from starting

Problem conclusion

  • The queue manager startup code has been modified to detect and
disregard the historic DR link failure conditions during
    startup.
