APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When attempting to delete an Integration Node that has been
    created as an MQ Service a BIP8059E message is returned and the
    Integration Node is not deleted.

Local fix

  • To delete the Integration Node in 11.0.0.2 perform the
    following steps
    
    (1)
    
      On Windows
    
        delete the
    %MQSI_REGISTRY%\registry\\CurrentVersion\HA
    BrokerMQService.dat file in the registry.
    
      On Linux
    
        delete the
    $MQSI_REGISTRY//HASharedWorkPath file
    
    (2) use mqsideletebroker to remove the Integration Node.
    
    (3) remove the service definition in MQ using the runmqsc
    command:delete service('MQSI_').

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When attempting to delete an Integration Node that has been
    created as an MQ Service a BIP8059E message is returned and the
    Integration Node is not deleted.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The mqsideletebroker command has been fixed so that an
    Integration Node that has been created as an MQ Service can be
    deleted.
