• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus SQL log backups fail after
  changing the Windows password for the SQL ID being used.
  The Windows event log, specifically the
  "Microsost-Windows-TaskScheduler/Operational" log will show"
  Event ID: 101
  Task scheduler failed to start
  "\IBM\SPP Windows Agent\sppcmd_XXXX_DBNAME"
  task for user 'DOMAIN\ID' . Additional data:
  Error value: 2147943726

Problem conclusion

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus has been updated to address this
  issue. The SQL log backup module will update the SQL log backup
  task with the new password if the Windows password has been
  changed since the last SQL backup job.
