APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Client applications became disconnected and could not reconnect.
A FDC file was written.  Edited details are added below.

The queue manager became unstable and would not end normally.

When ended/restarted, the queue manager was OK again.

Problem summary

USERS AFFECTED:
Users of any queue manager where an AUTHINFO object has been
configured to contact LDAP repositories for authentication
and/or authorization checks.


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
There was a fault inside the included LDAP client library.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The fix is obtained by updating the included LDAP library to
6.4.0.19. This is done under the following MQ APARs:

MQ v8 : IT29958
MQ v9 LTS : IT30324
MQ v9.1 LTS: IT30582
