Per the 8.1.6 info center the Postschedulecmd shows the short form is POSTSC but the Windows examples show POSTS: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEQVQ_8.1.6/client/ r_opt_postnschedulecmd.html Syntax: >>-+-POSTSChedulecmd--+-- --cmdstring--------------------------> < '-POSTNSChedulecmd-' Options file: Windows posts startdb.cmd posts 'rename c:\myapp\logfile.log logfile.new' posts 'net start "simple service"' posts 'rename "c:\myapp\log file.log" "log file.new"' posts '"C:\Program Files\MyTools\runreport.bat" In previous manuals/pdf's POSTS was the short capitalized form until starting at the 8.1.1 Information Center the POSTSNAPshotcmd was added Syntax >>---POSTSNAPshotcmd---- --"cmdstring"-------------------------> < Thus POSTS would no longer be unique and POSTSC would be correct/unique. The Windows examples were not updated.
