Problem conclusion
IBM Spectrum Protect Plus may experience symptoms related to system load. The symptoms include seeing the message indicated in the Problem Description. When the Spectrum Protect server communicates with vSnap and vSnap is under heavy load, the API call issued to vSnap may time out. A change to the product increases the default timeout value. Subsequent releases will improve this condition further by ensuring all necessary API requests are handled in an asynchronous fashion.
