    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A user may find that SOAP fault messages sent by a SOAPReply
node are not signed and encrypted even though it is configured
with a provider policy set and binding with encryption and
signature. The issue is seen only with SOAPFault responses.

Problem conclusion

  • The product now provides an environment variable
MQSI_USE_WSPOLICY_ON_SOAPFAULT to allow SOAPReply to be sent
through Ws-Security pipeline. The environment variable can be
set to any non-null value. For example, on Unix/Linux platform :

    export MQSI_USE_WSPOLICY_ON_SOAPFAULT=1
