Problem conclusion

  • There was a change in the way how objects' attributes are stored
on the server for legacy (IBM TSM backup-archive clients'
versions 5.x/6.x/7.x) and newest (IBM SP backup-archive clients'
versions 8.1.x) backups or archives of GPFS file systems.
As a result, the detailed (i.e. with -detail command line
option) dsmc query archive and query backup commands output
might not always display the ACL size information for all
archived or backed up objects from a particular GPFS file space.
If you've got such a mixed GPFS backups or archives and need to
run the "mmbackup -q" command, then to avoid misleading messages
you should specify the following testflag in your dsm.opt befoe
    you start the mmbackup command:
    testflag QUERYSHOWACLSIZE
