APAR status

Error description

  • Db2prereqcheck reports that it confirmed all the installation
    prerequisites were met, including SUNWlibC patch level.

    installation prerequisites were met.

    But Db2 installer fails with the following error.

    did not complete successfully. The error data is "". The Return
    value was "9".
    
    Registering DB2 licenses :.......Failure
    ERROR: The value "DB2SYSTEM=********" could not be added to the
    Global
    Profile Registry. Return value is "9".

    Running db2licm from command also fails, indicating that it was
    compiled with recent Sun Studio C++ compiler (SUNWlibC) version.
