IBM Spectrum Protect client 7.1.8.x interim fix downloads

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Backup-Archive Client on Solaris platform is incorrectly
  detecting target LOFS (Loopback File System) directory as a
  mount point when backing up the file system that contains this
  directory. The backup will not save data belonging to this
  directory. Only after umounting the loopback file system, the
  directory will be correctly saved.
  
  Example:
  A system with one main FS = /
  
  Create a loopback FS
  mkdir -p /jail/usr
  mount -F lofs /usr /jail/usr
  
  The dscm incremental command will skip /usr
  dmsc incr
  
  After removing loopback, /usr will be then correctly backed up
  umount /jail/usr
  dmsc incr
  
  This is due to a regression of APAR IC92811 on Solaris platform.

Problem conclusion

• Upon the fix, the objects from the lofs source directory will be
  successfully backed up / archived during the (source directory)
  enclosing file system backup / archive operation.
