Error description

  • File permission values derived from the operating system are
traced within the function xufCheckEffectiveRights for the
benefit of IBM support, however these were not formatted
correctly.

USERS AFFECTED:
Users of IBM MQ on UNIX who are requested to supply an MQ trace
to IBM support.


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The effective permissions traced within xufCheckEffectiveRights
were not formatted correctly, which added overheads to any trace
analysis activity.

Problem conclusion

  • The formatting of this tracepoint has been corrected.
