• PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  
  The Spectrum Protect client may not expire objects by command
  
  "c:\program files\tivoli\tsm\baclient\dsmc.exe" expire
  -filelist=<file_list>&#160;"  if there is non-english characters in
  the filelist file. The file name in english in filelist will be
  expired.

  version 7.1. and higher

Problem conclusion

• The type of file's char set (Multi-Byte, Unicode, etc) was lost
  for the 'expire -filelist' command.
  The code has been fixed so the problem does not occur any more.
