APAR status

Error description

  • In IBM Sterling B2B Integrator 5.2.4 and 5.2.5,
SWIFTNet FileAct transaction fails to reconcile delivery
notifications with error message:
"Exception logging correlation: Unable to update: Invalid
Delivery Notification Reference".
This failure happens intermittently and the SWIFTNet
Server fails to add the delivery notification information as a
result. This happens because the delivery notification was
processed earlier than the SwiftNet FileAct response.

Local fix

Circumvention:
You can modify the preconfigured business process
"handleSWIFTNet7FileActDelNotif" so that the processes retry
the update.
If you are not able to upgrade your system, open a service
request with support to get the modified business process.
