A Client Management Server (CMS) query on a task id which does not exist like this one : https://<CMS server name>:9028/tsmcms/backupSystems/<nodename>/tasks/<taskid> Will produce the browser message '500 Internal Server error' instead of the expected '404 Not Found'. in the cms server console.log, the following will be seen : [ERROR ] An unhandled exception occurred which will be propagated to the container. [ERROR ] SRVE0777E: Exception thrown by application class 'com.ibm.cms.services.task.manager.TaskManager.getTask:131' java.lang.NullPointerException at ...
