APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After upgrading to V5.2.6.3_3, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator does
not start on Solaris.
The ops.log contains an entry "Cannot create JVM, unknown option
 -Xgcpolicy:gencon".

Local fix

  • RTC NO: 557780

ONLY ON SOLARIS:
* Edit the file tmp.sh_platform_ifcresources_ext.in in the
<si-install>/bin directory
* replace the line (10)
JAVA_OPS="${JAVABIN} ${JAVA_FLAGS} -Xms128m -Xmx1024m
-Xgcpolicy:gencon "
with
JAVA_OPS="${JAVABIN} ${JAVA_FLAGS} -Xms128m -Xmx1024m"
* stop SI
* run setufiles.sh
* start SI
