Error description

  • If an MQ API exit changes the message length the queue manager
may generate unnecessary FDCs with Probe Ids ZS402095 and
    RM575000.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users using async consume with an API exit (data conversion
    exit).

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
This problem occurred because the message length in an internal
data structure was not updated correctly by the queue manager
after invoking API exits, which caused an error during
    subsequent message length validation.

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ queue manager logic has been modified to correctly update
the message length in this internal structure after calling API
    exits.
