APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a cluster Queue Manager is restarted with pending messages
on the cluster transmit queue, cluster sender channels which
should restart (those not explicitly placed in STOPPED state)
    may fail to start.

Local fix

  • Issue the 'start channel' command using runmqsc or MQExplorer to
restart channels that were not in STOPPED state when the queue
    manager previously ended.
