IT21056: DUPLICATE ANS1899I MESSAGES ARE ISSUED DURING SYSTEM STATE BACKUP

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • During system state backup, duplicate ANS1899I messages may be
    issued. This can happen when the backup progress is minimal. The
     client issues ANS1899I message when 500 objects were processed,
     however sometimes the count is not increased despite the fact
    that some objects were processed, and as result the client
    prints ANS1899I message twice or more.

Problem conclusion

  • The routine that prints the message "ANS1899I ***** Examined
