APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the connection between SSP and the outbound PS is lost and
    restored, the CD proxy adapter can think that its listener is
    down, while the local inbound PS is still accepting connections
    on its behalf and queueing them up.  The SSP CD adapter ignores
    the connections. If the situation goes undetected, the load
    balancer health check pings can lead to build up of
    DataConduitApiImpl connection objects and eventually cause the
    OutOfMemory  exception.
    

Local fix

  • Stop the SSP CD adapter to clear the DataConduitApiImpl
    objects, and restart it to re-establish a functioning listener
    with the local inbound PS.
