• During a backup or archive, a bus reset I/O error like the
  following may be detected:
  
  ANR8302E I/O error on drive DRVXX (/dev/IBMtapexx) with volume
   AXXXXX (OP=WRITE, Error Number=5, CC=0, rc = 2867, KEY= 06,
   ASC=29, ASCQ= 00, SENSE=71.00.06.00.00.00.00.58.00.00.00.00.
   29.00.F5.0A.C0.F0, Description=An undetermined error has
   occurred). Refer to the IBM Spectrum Protect documentation on
   I/O error code  descriptions.
  
  Here what the sense data means:

  In such a situation, the write operation should stop and the
  affected volume should be marked as READONLY, but that does not
