Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
This issue affects users of MQ v8 and v9 on Ubuntu Linux.

    Platforms affected:
Linux on zSeries, Linux on x86-64

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
MQ uses symbolic links to ensure the primary installation's
libraries added to the library search path. A logic error during
the installation routines meant that these links were not
    created correctly.

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ installation routines have been updated to ensure that
the primary installation's libraries are linked correctly.
