APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a file is archived that was premigrated using Spectrum
  Protect for Space Management, the server creates a second copy
  of the file.
  
  Sample usage to recreate:
  
  dsmmigrate -p -d filename
  dsmc arch filename
  dsmc q arch filename -> shows the file twice
  
  Versions affected:
  8.1 and 7.1.6
  
  Platforms affected:
  AIX GPFS and Linux GPFS

Problem summary

Problem conclusion

• Customer makes archive of premigrated files and inline copy for
  premigrated files is disabled.
  Before fixing the issue, at first a inline copy was performed
  then the file was additionally send to server, two copies of
  file exists on server.
  With the fix, no inline copy was performed, only one file exists
  on server.
