APAR status

Error description

  • The values set to REG_VAR_DEFAULT_VALUE returned by
    ENV_GET_REG_VARIABLES table function for DB2CHGPWD_EEE
    and DB2LOGINRESTRICTIONS registry variables are incorrect.
    
    1.
    The default value for DB2CHGPWD_EEE should be NULL.
    However, the value returned by ENV_GET_REG_VARIABLES is 'DB2'.
    
    Example:
    $ db2 "select substr(REG_VAR_NAME, 1, 40) as REG_VAR_NAME,
    substr(REG_VAR_DEFAULT_VALUE, 1, 20) as REG_VAR_DEFAULT_VALUE
    from table (ENV_GET_REG_VARIABLES (-2,1)) where REG_VAR_NAME =
    'DB2CHGPWD_EEE'"

    The default value for DB2LOGINRESTRICTIONS should be 'LOCAL'.
    However, the value returned by ENV_GET_REG_VARIABLES is NULL.
