APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Third parties using WS_FTP Pro are reporting issues while
transferring multiple files to and from B2B. The SSP server is
showing a lot of close_wait sessions.

When they initiate the FTP job, they are able to establish
the connection. They then attempt to either write or read a
file but instead it sends us a  FIN  state, which puts them
into a  FIN_WAIT2  state.

Some transfers are completed and some are not from the same TP.

No errors are visible in the  capture trace and ftp.log.
Customer has SSP v3.4.3.
