APAR status

Error description

  • The cicsas process fails to load the CICS trigger monitor
    because of a symbol lookup error such as "amqltmc0: undefined
    symbol: xcsCheckConsistency".

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of the CICS trigger monitor (amqltcm0 or amqltmcc) on
    Linux.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    Linux on x86-64

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The CICS trigger monitor on Linux was not linked with the
    necessary shared libraries for it to run, so an attempt to use
    the CICS trigger monitor failed as it could not be loaded.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The CICS trigger monitor on Linux was changed to link with the
    necessary shared libraries for it to run.
