APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The problem is that the Setup Wizard can not tell if the user is
an Administrator or a non-admin.  It can tell if the user is
root.

When the setup wizard is started from TSM Tools for
Administrators, the option files are placed in the common
location and all users have access.

When the setup wizard is started from Tivoli Storage Manager,
the option files are (supposed to) split between the central
location for dsm.sys and the user location for dsm.opt.

Problem conclusion


    

  • Now for the user that belongs to "admin" group dsm.opt and
dsm.sys are created in  "/Library/Pereferences/Tivoli Storage
Manager" .
