Error description

• Snapdiff in general at least  7-mod should be support on Ubuntu.
  I have go back I saw that I have ran a manual stress test
  scenario during 7.1.2 cycle for Cmod volume on the Ubuntu.
  
  But the problem is we introduced the C-mod support in 7.1.2,
  even we have tested but we does not enable the support really
  late in the test cycle (may be during the IVT of 7.1.2) due to
  the delay in license agreement between IBM and Netapp.
  The way we enable it is to add this license file into product so
  customer can enable the Cmod support by running the setnetappsvm
  command.  I think during the proccess of adding the license file
  to add support we overlook the Unbutu since Ubuntu also the new
  supported platform at that time and also was added later in the
  testing cycle.
  I believedI also forgot to modify the automated script to add
  support for Ubuntu because this platform was added later in
  testing cycle So we always think that our 2 automated scripts
  was running the test for Ubuntu but it instead it was skipped on
  Ubuntu platform.
  
  Anyway, the root cause is we are trying to add stuff in at the
  end cycle (just like this time for snapdiff), which may cause
  these problems like this.

Problem conclusion

• The license file was added back into the Linux Ubuntu package.
