IT17947: IBM MQ FOR WINDOWS VERSION 8 IS MISSING THE 64 BIT AMQRSPIN DLL FROM EXITS64 INSTALLATION PATH.

Error description

• In IBM MQ for Windows Version 8 the sample SSPI security 64 bit
  exit dll is missing. The amqrspin.dll is not installed as a
  standard part in the MQ_INSTALLATION_PATH/exits64 as expected.
  This causes the applications using this exit to fail.

• Users can build the dlls using the sample code amqrspin.c as
  described:

  Users of MQ V8 and above, with applications accessing the
  amqrspin.dll security exit, which is shipped with MQ from the
  path MQ_INSTALLATION_PATH/exits/INSTALLATION_NAME or
  MQ_INSTALLATION_PATH/exits64/INSTALLATION_NAME.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  In MQ V8 and above, the sample security exit, amqrspin.dll, is
  not found at the default location
  MQ_INSTALLATION_PATH/exits/INSTALLATION_NAME as against the
  documented behavior.
  

Problem conclusion

• This issue is a permanent restriction on IBM MQ v8, and users
  will have to build the dlls from the sample, amqrspin.c.
  provided with MQ as described in the Knowledge centre and copy
  to the required location.
  
  
  On IBM v9 CD and LTS, the product installer has been updated to
  address this issue.
