Error description

  • FTP Server Adapter RNTO command does not overwrite to the
destination filename when Payload Repository = File System.

For example: Consider, file1.txt (1 byte) and file2.txt
    (28 bytes) as below:

    ftp> dir
    200 PORT command successful.
125 Data connection already open; transfer starting.
    -rw------- 1 file group 1 Oct 27 10:04 file1.txt
    -rw------- 1 file group 28 Oct 27 10:04 file2.txt

When you try to rename "file2.txt" to "file1.txt" so that
    original
"file1.txt" is overwritten, with that new "file1.txt"
(what was named "file2.txt" before). Seems, that it's not
possible when Payalod Repository = File System, although FTP
Server Adapter responds that operation was successful. See
    below:

    ftp> ren file2.txt file1.txt
350 Requested file action pending further information.
250 Requested file action okay, completed.
    ftp> dir
    200 PORT command successful.
125 Data connection already open; transfer starting.
    -rw------- 1 file group 1 Oct 27 10:04 file1.txt
    -rw------- 1 file group 28 Oct 27 10:04 file2.txt
