Error description

• The client algorithm for determining EXT filesystem version can
  not process multiple mount records for root filesystem correctly
   hence fails to correctly identify EXT filesystem version.
  This issue can occur on all Linux distributions where /etc/mtab
  is not a static file but a link to /proc/self/mounts.
  
  For example:
  
  "/" (root) filesystem is an EXT4 filesystem
  
  In /proc/self/mounts can be seen two entries for the /
  filesystem.
  
  rootfs / rootfs rw 0 0
  and
  /dev/mapper/system0374-root_lv / ext4 rw,relatime,data=ordered 0
  0
  
  The first entry is the initrd file system mounted at boot time
  and the second one is the real / filesystem mounted on top of
  the previous one.
  
  So the client identifies the / filesystem as filesystem type of
  first entry (EXT2) and not the second entry (EXT4).

  "query file" on the Tivoli Storage Manager will also misreport
  the filesystem type.

  Tivoli Storage Manager Clients 6.3.x, 6.4.x and 7.1.x  for
  RedHat and SUSE Linux
