Error description

  • If bipservice process goes down for some reason, the user cannot
    stop the broker using 'mqsistop' or mqsistop -i' command.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    It is not possible to  stop n Integration node using either
    'mqsistop' or 'mqsistop -i' if the bipservice process for the
    Integration Node is down, for example if it has been killed, or
    has crashed.
    
    There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere
    Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0.  For details

Problem conclusion

  • Product has been modified so that it is now possible to stop the
    Integration Node using 'mqsistop -i' option  even if the
    Integration Node's bipservice process is not running.
