Error description

  • UI Dashboard Menu Defect - Operations/System/Cluster/Node Status
    option does not appear on Dashboard Menu even when providing
    "Node Status" permission to the user.
    

Local fix

  • Customer can change the YFS_MENU and YFS_RESOURCE
    manually, then run the deployer to update the neotree.xml,
    restart and update the Node Status User:
    
    Select * from YFS_MENU where RESOURCE_KEY = 'PLTADM23'
    
    Verify a single record exists
    update YFS_MENU set RESOURCE_KEY = 'CLUSTER' where RESOURCE_KEY
    ='PLTADM23'
    
    Verify a single record was updated
    select * from YFS_MENU where RESOURCE_KEY = 'CLUSTER'
    
    Verify the new record exists
    select * from YFS_RESOURCE where RESOURCE_KEY = 'PLTADM23'
    
    Verify a single record exists
    update YFS_RESOURCE set RESOURCE_KEY = 'CLUSTER' where
    RESOURCE_KEY ='PLTADM23'
    
    Verify a single record was updated
    select * from YFS_RESOURCE where RESOURCE_KEY = 'CLUSTER'
    Verify a single record exists
    
    Run the commands:
    hardstop.sh
    deployer.sh
    run.sh
    
    Then as Admin, through the UI:
    Edit user - Add Node Status as permission again - as the record
    key has changed.
    
    Log in with limited Node Status user, and see that the Node
    Status is available through the Tree View.
