Error description

• Error Description:
  Tivoli Storage Manager Client report an incorrect count of
  objects inspected if a filesystem is resent to the Tivoli
  Storage Manager server due to the growing in size caused by the
  compression settings.
  The error  'ANS2101E (RC155) Compressed data grew' is reported
  in error log.
  
  If in the dsm.opt the compression options are enabled:
  
  Compress yes
  Compressalways no
  
  a filesystem can be resent twice if its size during compression
  is bigger than the original without compression during a backup
  image operation.
  
  In this case the final statistics of the backup operation will
  report an incorrect value, counting the same filesystem
  inspected twice.
  
  The following error is present in the dsmerror.log:
  
  ANS2101E Compressed data grew.
  ANS2101E (RC155)  Compressed data grew.
  ANS1424W Retrying failed image operation for volume /TEST/TTEST.
  
  At the end of the operation the statistics will report
  incorrectly:
  Image backup of volume '/TEST/TTEST
  
  Total number of objects inspected:            2
  Total number of objects backed up:            1
  
  The number of objects inspected in this case is wrong because
  the client inspected only one object and not two.
