When copy and paste from Excel to 3270 host application the
Profit value is coming up with a 0 however the detail copied
from the Excel file does not contain a 0.

Users are unable to copy tabular data from Excel to IBM Personal
Communications. Data from next column is merged and pasted in
one column. Hence tabular form is not maintained after copied to
IBM Personal communications screen. The behavior is dependent on
the nature of tabular data. The problem may not occur always.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • With this fix, after pasting tabular data from Excel onto IBM
Personal Communications screen tabular form is maintained.
PCSEDIT.DLL code changes have been made to ensure that the
emulator session processes the tabular data correctly.

Fix scheduled for IBM Personal Communications 6.0.17 Refresh
Pack and 12.0.0.1 Fix Pack.
