Error description

• Abstract line is too short, so the full abstract is:
  
  SETTING THE FEDERATED SERVER OPTION DB2_REQUESTS_IO_BLOCK_BUF TO
  A HIGH VALUE CAN LEAD TO INCORRECT RESULTS BEING RETURNED BY A
  SELECT WHICH RETURNS A LOT OF NARROW ROWS FROM A NICKNAME.
  
  Error description:
  
  This problem can happen because the DB2_REQUESTS_IO_BLOCK_BUF
  enlarges the buffer used to retrieve data from the remote data
  source, but if 1 buffer contains more than 32k rows, an overflow
  of a variable can lead to this problem.
  

Local fix

• The workaround is to lower the DB2_REQUESTS_IO_BLOCK_BUF setting
  ( or leave as default ).
