Error description

  • When running 7.1.x client on a SLES 12 host with BTRFS (B-tree
    File System) filesystems,
"backup image" will fail to backup such filesystems with:

    Image backup of volume '/BTRFS_name'
ANS1228E Sending of object '/BTRFS_name' failed.
ANS8058E The specified path is a Linux Btrfs subvolume and is
    not valid
    for image backup.

ANS1813E Image Backup processing of '/BTRFS_name' finished with
    failures.

In this case, /BTRFS_name is a BTRFS 'root' volume and not a
    BTRFS subvolume.
