• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The backup of a filer volume attached to a Windows host
  leveraging the Microsoft Offload Copy feature will complete
  with the following permission error in the client dsmerror.log :
  ANS0361I DIAG: fioGetAttrib(C:\Program
  Files\Tivoli\TSM\baclient\/vol/<volname>) failed.
  ANS5250E An unexpected error was encountered.
      TSM function name : GetFileSecurityInfo
      TSM function : CreateFile() returned '5' for file
  '\\<filername>\adm\~snapshot\<TSM triggered filer volume
  snapshot name>\.copy_offload\.tokens'
      TSM return code : 106
      TSM file : ..\..\common\fio\ntfileio.cpp (9655)
  
  When the initial incremental full backup using the snapdiff
  feature completes with any error, the next snapdiff incremental
  that should send only the updated files, will again be a full
  incremental one.

  Tivoli Storage Manager Clients 7.1.2 and higher on Windows
  supporting Netapp Data Ontap 8.2 or higher in C-mode

Local fix

• Use the client option set to apply the exclude.dir rule to all
  Windows clients performing the snapdiff backups:
